Long story short I take responsibility for my own actions because though I saw red flags I continued the relationship. Even when I walked away and had some local friends help get me out of the apartment away from him and gave me a place till I figured things out, I allowed him to manipulate and put fear into me and for that reason I returned. I could have came back to America but again I didn't want to feel embarrass in front of family. But eventually I was saved from that situation and learned so much.
